The white villages of Cádiz — Vejer de la Frontera above all — have quietly become one of Europe’s most loved wedding corners: whitewashed lanes, Atlantic light, long tables under the fig trees. I have photographed weddings here for years, and it never stops feeling like a gift.

Casa La Siesta and the white villages

Emma and Rob married at Casa La Siesta — the boutique country house outside Vejer that British couples book years ahead — and Victoria and Richard celebrated in Vejer itself, between the town’s rooftops and the countryside. From here the coast unrolls: Conil, Caños de Meca, Tarifa, and beach ceremonies with Africa on the horizon.
